Dr. Mushtaq began his distinguished career at Tehsil Headquarter (THQ) Hospital, Gujar Khan, where he served for 15 years with dedication and compassion. He then continued his service as Principal Dental Surgeon and Head of the Department of Dentistry at District Headquarter (DHQ) Hospital, Jhelum, before being appointed Head of the Department of Dentistry at Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Rawalpindi (2005–2013). Later, he served as Chief Dental Surgeon at Services Hospital, Lahore, further cementing his reputation for clinical excellence and leadership in dental healthcare.
Since 1984, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed has also been running his private dental practice, where he has provided expert care to generations of families with professionalism, precision, and a personal touch.
